Mysteries at the Monument
Mysteries at the Monuments scours the country for America's most extraordinary monuments and reveals the amazing mysteries hidden within. Just some of the tales include New York's Ellis Island, which served as a beacon of hope for the world-famous Von Trapp family of singers; a huge clock on the island of Hawaii where the hands are forever frozen in time due to the Hilo Tsunami; the Falling Star Sculpture in Alabama that commemorates the only known American to be hit by a meteorite; and Arizona's breathtaking Grand Canyon, where a newlywed couple inexplicably vanished. Hosted by Don Wildman, this series visits the statues, memorials, national parks, sculptures and gravestones that commemorate our nation's most intriguing events, notorious crimes, scandals, disasters and triumphs.
